Column / Beam Junction – The plaster shall be applied over the cleaned and wetted surface of the wall. When the plaster has been brought to a true surface with the wooden straight edge (Clause 13.1.4) it shall be uniformly treated over its entire area with a paste of neat cement and rubbed smooth, so that the whole surface is covered with neat cement coating. The quantity of cement applied for floating coat shall be 1 kg per sqm. Smooth finishing shall be completed with trowel immediately and in no case later than half an hour of adding water to the plaster mix. The rest of the specifications described in 13.1.4 shall apply.
